Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Alyze ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Alyze.

2. Description of Service

Alyze is an AI-powered platform that helps founders and fundraisers create professional investor rooms and pitch presentations. The Service includes:

  • AI-generated presentation content powered by large language models
  • A structured company context system to capture your business information
  • Customizable branding and design tools for your presentations
  • Shareable public links for your investor rooms
  • Visitor analytics and engagement tracking for your published rooms
  • AI-assisted web research and document processing capabilities
  • Document upload and extraction features

3. Account Registration

To use Alyze, you must sign in using your Google account. By doing so, you authorize us to access certain information from your Google profile, including your name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs through your Alyze account.

Each individual may only create one account. You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.

4. User Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you provide to Alyze, including your company context information, uploaded documents, branding assets, and the presentations you create. By using the Service, you grant Alyze a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

When you publish a room, its content becomes accessible to anyone with the link. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content you publish does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

5. AI-Generated Content

Alyze uses artificial intelligence to generate presentation content based on the information you provide. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may not be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs
  • You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before publishing or sharing it
  • AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection in all jurisdictions
  • Alyze does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be unique or free from errors

You are solely responsible for any claims, representations, or statements made in your presentations, whether the content was written by you or generated by AI.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Alyze to:

  • Create, publish, or distribute content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful
  • Make knowingly false or misleading claims to investors or other parties
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Violate the rights of any third party, including intellectual property and privacy rights

7. Intellectual Property

The Alyze platform, including its design, code, templates, design system, branding, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Alyze. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Alyze name, logo, or branding for any purpose other than as permitted by the Service.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

Alyze offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Each tier includes a monthly allocation of AI processing tokens and usage limits. Your token allocation resets monthly on the anniversary of your account creation (Free) or subscription start date (Pro).

Alyze reserves the right to modify pricing, features, and usage limits at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes to paid plans. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Analytics & Visitor Tracking

When you publish a room, Alyze collects engagement data from visitors who view your presentation. This data is made available to you as the room owner and includes:

  • Time spent on each section of your presentation
  • Scroll depth and completion status
  • Device type and referral source
  • CTA click tracking

Visitors are identified using a hashed fingerprint derived from browser and device characteristics. No personally identifiable information is collected from visitors. By publishing a room, you acknowledge that visitor engagement data will be collected and made available to you.

10. Third-Party Services

Alyze integrates with third-party services to deliver its features. By using the Service, you acknowledge that certain data may be transmitted to:

  • Anthropic — Your company context and prompts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI content generation
  • Tavily — Search queries are sent for market research and web data retrieval
  • ScreenshotOne — Website URLs are sent for visual screenshot capture
  • Google — Authentication is handled through Google OAuth
  • Supabase — Database and file storage infrastructure

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Alyze is not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alyze shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Alyze makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content and shall not be held liable for any decisions made based on such content.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Alyze reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to the Service or other users.

Upon account deletion, all associated data — including your profile, rooms, documents, branding, analytics, and chat history — will be permanently removed from our systems.

13. Changes to Terms

Alyze may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
